msx-tsx restore...

hi
SQLServer 2000 sp3 having master-target relationship. I want to change the
master server to another system.how can i replace this master server without
affecting target relations? any help , appreciated.BOL says:

the master and msdb on other system and continue the msx-tsx relationship?
